Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that his discharge application dated 27.02.2024, filed in Sessions Trial No. 724 of 2024 (State vs. Azad), arising out of Case Crime No. 263 of 2022, under Sections 307 and 482 IPC, Police Station Murad Nagar, District Ghaziabad, is pending before the Court of Additional District and Sessions Judge, Court No. 4, Ghaziabad. It is further submitted that although the court is functioning, the said application has not yet been taken up for hearing. 3. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Court No. 4, Ghaziabad, is directed to decide the discharge application of the appellant expeditiously, strictly in accordance with law, without granting unnecessary adjournments, preferably within a period of one month from the date of production of a certified copy of this order. 4.
