Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. Ashutosh Kumar Rai, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State-respondents. 2. The instant petition has been filed for mandamus directing the respondent no.1/ Board of Revenue, U.P. at Prayagraj to decide the Case No.REV/ 118/ 1998-1999 (Computerized Case No.AL199902039981) between the parties "Shanti Bhushan vs. Barsati", under Section 333 of U.P.Z.A. & L.R. Act within stipulated period. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the revision filed by private respondent arising out of the proceeding under Section 198 (4) of U.P.Z.A. & L.R. Act is pending before respondent no.1/ Board of Revenue, U.P. Prayagraj since 25.9.1999. He further submitted that the petitioners are opposite party in the aforementioned revision. He further submitted that the copy of order sheet of the case has been annexed as Annexure No.4 to the petition in order to demonstrate that the case is not Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Aprajit Yadav, Shyam Lal Yadav Counsel for Respondent(s) : Azad Rai, C.S.C. Barsati And 8 Others .....Petitioner(s) Board Of Revenue Up And 13 Others .....Respondent(s) proceeding expeditiously. 4. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the case and keeping in view of the facts and circumstances, respondent no.1 is directed to decide the aforementioned revision on merits after giving an opportunity of hearing to the parties in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order before him. 5.
