This is an application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 in respect of PRC Page No.# 2/2 No.382/2024 arising out of Hailakandi P.S. Case No.185/2024. 3. The petitioner has been shown as an absconder in the charge sheet. He, now, wants to face the trial and prays for giving him adequate opportunity to face the trial. 4. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel of both sides in the light of the materials available with the record. 5. The prayer of the petitioner is allowed. 6. As the petitioner intends to face the trial, he should be given an opportunity to that effect. Accordingly, it is hereby directed that within the next 10(ten) days from today, the petitioner shall appear before the trial court of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hailakandi in respect of PRC No.382/2024 arising out of Hailakandi P.S. Case No.185/2024. On his appearance, he shall be released on bail of ₹25,000/- with surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hailakandi.
