On 02.09.2024, Mr. T. Deuri, learned counsel who earlier appeared on behalf of the petitioner submitted before this Court that he was unable to contact the petitioner since long and therefore, he had withdrawn his Vakalatnama and to that effect, he also informed the petitioner by sending him a notice by registered post with AD. A copy of the notice was also placed on record which was marked as document ‘X’. And the postal tract consignment report of the said notice sent by the learned counsel for the petitioner also shows that the notice was duly delivered to the addressee on 08.06.2024. However, despite the receipt of such information, no one appears on behalf of the petitioner. Page No.# 3/3 It appears that the petitioner is no longer interested to pursue with the matter.
