This is an application for condonation of delay of 473 days in filing the appeal.

For the reasons stated in the application, the same is allowed and the delay of 473 days in filing the appeal is condoned. FAO-295-2025

Learned counsel for respondent No.5 states that an amount of ₹2,44,500/- had been awarded by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Panipat (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Tribunal’) vide award dated
29.05.2023. Learned counsel further states that he has instructions that respondent No.5 is willing to pay an amount of ₹2,50,000/- over and above the amount already awarded by the Tribunal to the appellants as full and final AMAN JAIN 2026.02.11 09:20 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this
order/judgment

settlement of all the claims. Learned counsel further states that a cheque in the name of the appellants, as per their apportionment, would be handed over to them within a period of six weeks from today.

Learned counsel for the appellants states that he has no objection and that the aforesaid offer is acceptable to the appellants.

In view of the above, the present appeal is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.5 to hand over cheques in the names of the appellants, as per their apportionment, for an amount totalling ₹2,50,000/- over and above the amount already awarded by the Tribunal within a period of six weeks from today. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
