Shahanshah Khan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Abhishek Shukla, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel appearing for the State-respondents. The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondent No. 2, the Sub Divisional Officer, Ghorawal, District Sonbhadra to decide the Case No. 1811 of 2025, computerized case no. T202516660301811, under Section 38(5) of the U. P. Revenue Code, 2006 (Lekhpal report vs. Shanti Devi), within a stipulated time period. Counsel for the State-respondents submits that pursuant to the previous order dated 10.10.2025 instructions have been received from the respondent no.2, along with which a case summary has been appended to indicate that the matter is pending and that 13.10.2025 is the date fixed. Counsel for the State-respondents submits that efforts are being made for conclusion of the proceedings at an early date. Having regard to the aforesaid, the present petition is disposed of with an observation that the respondent No. 2, the Sub Divisional Officer, Ghorawal, District Sonbhadra, would make an endeavor to conclude the proceedings of the case, which is stated to be pending before it, preferably within a period of three months, without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties, provided there is no other legal impediment.
