Goswami, learned Addl. P.P., Assam appearing for the State respondent. 2. This application has been filed under section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraskha Sanhita, 2023, whereby the accused petitioner namely, Suel Ahmed Laskar, has prayed for bail in connection with Silchar P.S Case No. 842/2025, (GR. No.1424/2025) registered under Section 7 of Essential Commodities Act, 1955, R/W Sections 111(3) /111(4) /111(5)/111(6) /111(7)/112(2) / 303(2)/317(4)/318(3)/318(4) of BNS, 2023. 3. The accused person is stated to have been arrested on 20.08.2025 and presently in judicial custody. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that while Section 7 of Essential Commodities Act, 1955 is bailable but the provisions of BNS given pertaining to organized crime may not be applicable. He submitted that in any case, they shall face trial and seeks bail at this stage. 5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State submits that investigation has revealed implicating materials and involvement of a racket of these illegal activities. 6. I have seen the progress of the investigation. It is submitted that the out of the four accused persons named in the FIR including the present accused person – three of them has been enlarged on bail by this Court on 13.10.2025 passed in Bail Appln 3136/2025. Perused the said order placed before this Court. 7. In the given facts and circumstances, the accused herein is allowed to go on bail of Rs. 30,000/- with one surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned learned Court and subject to the following conditions that:- Page No.# 3/3 (i) That the accused persons shall be co-operate with the remaining part of the investigation; (ii) That the accused shall not involve in any illegal activities and offence; (iii) That the accused shall not hamper or tamper with evidence. 8.
