Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Radhanagar P.S. Case No. 172 of 2024, corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 1 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 18, 21 and 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge, Sahibganj. 3. Prayer for bail of this petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No. 2200 of 2025 by order dated 20.03.2025. 4. On 05.10.2024, Radhanagar Police intercepted a white colour vehicle bearing Registration No. JH-05DG-0975 from a place near Salti Pokhar, Radhanagar. The petitioner was apprehended along with co-accused Abdul Rajak @ Abdul Razak. On search, 930 grams of brown sugar were recovered from the said vehicle. 5. It was submitted that the quantum of seized opium comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. It was further submitted that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. It was finally submitted that co-accused Abdul Rajak @ Abdul Razak has been granted bail by this Court vide B.A. No. 5548 of 2025. 6. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Sahibganj in connection with Radhanagar P.S.
