O R D E R The petitioner submitted a representation seeking cancellation of Patta No.21 in respect of the property comprised in Survey Nos.256/5, 256/10, and 256/11, situated at Arasanipalai Village, Vembakkam Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District. 2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record. 3. A perusal of the representation submitted by the petitioner revealed that the petitioner sought cancellation of a fraudulent document and, subsequently, the cancellation of the patta in respect of the subject property. 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.37713 of 2025 4. In view of the fact that the provisions under Section 77A of the Registration Act have been struck down by the Hon’ble Division Bench of this Court, the authority concerned has no jurisdiction to cancel the document. 5. In view of the above, the prayer sought by the petitioners cannot be considered. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
