The petitioner has been made accused in connection with M.G.M. P.S. Case No. 137 of 2023, for the offence registered under Sections 385, 387 & 120B of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of Mr. Dilip Rajeshwar Tirkey, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st class, Jamshedpur. Rupees Fifty Lakhs were demanded by co-accused Sunita as Rangdari from a Mobile No.8926362371. It was submitted that the mobile phone does not belong to this petitioner. It was further submitted that the name of the petitioner has transpired in the confession of co-accused and petitioner has also confessed his guilt. Learned A.P.P on behalf of the State has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that petitioner has got criminal antecedent. Considering the fact that there is no cogent material against the petitioner on record, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Mr. Dilip Rajeshwar Tirkey, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st class, Jamshedpur, or his successor, in connection with M.G.M.
