Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Ormanjhi P.S. Case No. 157 of 2020 corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 42 of 2020 (S) for the offences registered under sections 17/12/20/22/29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned A.J.C.-VI, Ranchi. 3. On 10.08.2020 at 6.45 p.m., Ormanjhi Police on the basis of confidential information, seized a truck bearing registration no. RJ 19GE 2702 from a place near Urvashi Hotel at NH-33 Ranchi-Ramgarh Road. On search, 17.00 kg. of opium and 1800.00 kgs. of Doda were found loaded on the seized truck. It is alleged that the petitioner was also escorting the said truck in a Maruti Swift Car bearing registration no. JH 02AV 1994. It was submitted that the petitioner was not apprehended at the spot. It was further submitted that the vehicle of the petitioner was also not seized. It was finally submitted that the petitioner has become a victim of circumstance 4. Learned A.P.P has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the petitioner has got criminal antecedent. 5. Considering the nature of allegation, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned A.J.C.-VI, Ranchi in connection with Ormanjhi P.S.
