The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Chandwa P.S. Case No.107 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 271, 272, 318, 319, 338, 336, 340, 3(5) of the B.N.S, 2023 and Sections 47(A) and 58 of the Excise Act, pending in the Court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Latehar. On 15.05.2025 at about 4:30 P.M., Chandwa police on the basis of confidential information intercepted a truck bearing registration No. AR06B-6792 and seized huge quantity of English liquor. The petitioner is the driver of the said vehicle. It was submitted that petitioner was transporting the seized liquor on the instruction of the owner, who had provided him with valid document for transporting the same. It was further submitted that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Latehar, in connection with Chandwa P.S.
