Case No. 12 of 2025 for the offences registered under Sections 308(2), 308(5) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gumla. 3. The petitioner is alleged to have demanded rupees four lakhs as rangdari from the informant. The informant has paid rupees ten thousand to the petitioner. 4. It was submitted that the petitioner is in custody for about six months. 5. Considering the period of custody, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gumla, in connection with Palkot P.S.
