2025:JHHC:20665 IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI A.B.A. No. 3941 of 2025 ----- Relatives of Victim as petitioner Nos.1 & 2 .... Petitioner(s). Versus 1.The State of Jharkhand 2.X … Opp. Party(s) ------ CORAM : SRI ANANDA SEN, J. ------ For the Petitioner(s) : Mr. Kaisar Alam, Advocate For the State : Mr. Jitendra Pandey, AppI. P.P …...... 02/ 28.07.2025: It has been submitted that petitioner No.2, who is accused No.3 has already been arrested. 2. This anticipatory bail application will be now confined to petitioner No. 1, who is accused No.2 only. 3. Accused No.2 is the father-in-law of the victim. 4. Heard, learned counsel for the parties. 5. This is an application filed by the petitioner praying for grant of anticipatory bail in terms of Sections 482 and 484 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 apprehending his arrest for the offences under Sections 85/74/75(2)/ 303(2)/ 115(2)/ 351(2) of BNS. 6. Learned A.P.P. representing the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. 7. There is an allegation against petitioner No.1, who is father-in-law is that he was behaving inappropriately with the victim and there was some allegation of physical contact also. I find that the allegation is specific, thus, in my view, this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner No.1. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner No.1 in connection with Lohardaga P.S. Case No.62 of 2025, pending in the Court of learned C.J.M, Lohardaga, stands rejected. 8. Petitioner should appear before the Court concerned where his case will be considered on merit without being prejudiced by the order of this Court. R.S./ (ANANDA SEN, J.)
