The present Cr.M.P. has been filed under Section 528 of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 with the limited prayer made by the petitioner in the present petition is for the direction to the learned Family Court, Bilaspur for expeditious disposal of MJC No. 656 of 2022 pending since 21.06.2022 within the reasonable time frame. 2 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondent had filed an application under Section 125 of Cr.P.C. for grant of maintenance amount on 21.06.2022 in which the petitioner made his appearance on 28.12.2022 and thereafter, on various dates, the case was proceeded and on 28.07.2023 an order of interim maintenance has been passed against the petitioner and thereafter for one or other reasons, the proceeding of the case was adjourned and has not been concluded till date. Presently, the case is listed for recording of the applicant’s evidence and considering that the application is pending since 21.06.2022, the learned Family Court may be directed to conclude the proceeding as early as possible. 3. After considering the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner and after going through the order-sheets of the learned Family Court, Bilaspur, it would deem fit to direct the learned Family Court to conclude the proceeding as early as possible. 4. Therefore, the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Bilaspur is directed to expedite the proceeding of MJC No. 656 of 2022 and conclude the same as early as possible preferably within six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 5.
