Case No. 219 of 2024, S.T. Case No.316 of 2025, for the offence registered under Sections 317(4), 317(5), 318(4), 338, 336(3), 340(2), 61(2) & 112(2) of B.N.S., 2023, pending in the court of Sri Sanjeev Jha, learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-XVII, Ranchi. On 29.12.2024 at about 8:00 p.m., Ormanjhi Police on the basis of confidential information, intercepted two motorcycles bearing registration Nos. JH02C6013 and JH01AW7156 from Kamta Chowk near Kuchu Road, Ormanjhi. Co-accused Tarun Kumar Mahto @ Tarun Kumar and Mithlesh Kumar @ Mithlesh Mahto were arrested, while they were travelling on the said motorcycles. It transpired that both the vehicles were stolen one. It was submitted that name of the petitioner has come in the confession of co-accused persons. It was further submitted that nothing incriminating has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It was finally submitted that co- accused Mithlesh Kumar @ Mithlesh Mahto, who was apprehended at the place of occurrence, has been granted bail by the Coordinate Bench of this Court. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Sanjeev Jha, learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-XVII, Ranchi, in connection with Ormanjhi P.S.
