The Petitioner has approached this Court for grant of regular bail in connection with Bundu P.S. Case No. 47 of 2024, corresponding to NDPS Case No. 112 of 2024, pending in the court of Additional Judicial Commissioner- XIII, Ranchi, registered for the offence under Sections 20(b)(ii)(c) and 15(b) of NDPS. 3. Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case due to some ulterior motive of the informant. He further submits that the Petitioner is Khalasi of the seized truck and he was not aware of alleged articles recovered from the truck. He further submits that the charge has been framed against the petitioner on 06.03.2025, but till date no witness has been examined and there is no likelihood of early conclusion of trial, coupled with the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 17.04.2024 and he is having no criminal antecedent, save and except the present case; as such, the petitioner may be enlarged on bail. 4. Learned A.P.P. opposed the prayer for bail of the Petitioner. 5. Having regard to the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, coupled with the fact that no witness has been examined till date and there is no 2025:JHHC:22982 2 likelihood of early conclusion of trial, I am inclined to enlarge the Petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the above-named Petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand Only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Judicial Commissioner-XIII, Ranchi, in connection with Bundu P.S. Case No. 47 of 2024, corresponding to NDPS Case No. 112 of 2024. It is made clear that the Petitioner shall appear on each and every date before the learned trial court and he shall not threaten any witness and shall co-operate in trial and if any adverse report will come against this Petitioner, learned trial court shall be at liberty to cancel the bail of this Petitioner.
