Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State counsel for opposite parties. 2. The present petition has been filed seeking the following main relief:- "(a). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the Opposite Parties to make regular promotion to the petitioner on the post of Inspector w.e.f. 20.10.2016 against the vacancy of selection year 2015 and place the petitioner at correct position in the seniority list of Inspectors and thereafter consider his promotion on the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police alongwith similarly situated persons, keeping in view the judgment and order dated 01.03.2021 passed by the learned U.P. State Public Service Tribunal in Claim Petition No.1440 of 2016, Neeraj Singh versus State of U.P. & Ors." 3. Since consideration of petitioner's grievance would entail factual aspects, without entering into merits of the case, liberty is granted to petitioner to file a fresh representation before opposite party No. 3 i.e. Additional Director General of Police, Uttar Pradesh Signature Building, Gomti Nagar, Vistar, Lucknow. In case such a representation is filed, the same shall be decided within a period of six weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before the said authority.
