Heard, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 3 and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3. It is seen that the fourth respondent submitted representation for cancellation of patta in respect of the property situated at No.1/1 Dally street, Choolai, chennai 600 112 morefully described in the schedule 'A' under the document no.865/1996, 866/1996, 867/1996 and 868/1996 dated 13.03.1996 being part of a larger extent of Housing ground originally comprised in Old Survey No.1514, Old R.S. However, the third respondent, without issuing any notice to the petitioner and other necessary parties, proceeded with enquiry. 4. Therefore, the third respondent is directed to issue notice to all the parties concerned on the aforesaid representation submitted by the fourth respondent and, after giving them opportunity of personal hearing, to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of this order. 5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
