HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD LUCKNOW CONTEMPT APPLICATION (CIVIL) No. - 2340 of 2025 Court No. - 8 HON'BLE MANISH KUMAR, J. Respondent no. 1 has field a compliance affidavit, which is taken on record. Learned Standing Counsel has submitted that in compliance of the judgment and order passed in the Writ Petition, the applicant has been given one annual increment as per the judgment in the case of P.P. Pandey Vs. State of U.P. and others, (Writ Petition No. 18375 (S/S) of 2020), as directed by the Writ Court in the case of the applicant. The P.P.O has been forwarded to the Treasury for the purpose of crediting the amount in the account of the applicant. In reply thereto, learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that no arrears have been paid to the applicant which amounts to non compliance of the judgment and order passed in the Writ Petition. On being asked, learned counsel for the applicant whether there is any direction by the Writ Court in the case of the applicant or in the case of P.P. Pandey (supra), he has replied that in the case of P.P. Pandey (supra), there is direction for payment of consequential benefits but has very fairly submitted that there was no direction even in the case of P.P. Pandey (supra) to pay arrears. In view of the aforesaid, the present contempt application has become infructuous.
