JUSTICE DEVASHIS BARUAH Page No.# 2/3 ORDER 03.01.2025 Heard Mr. R Sharma, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner. Mr. A Chaliha, the learned counsel appears on behalf of the Finance Department, Government of Assam. 2. The instant application has been filed alleging willful and deliberate violation of the order dated 13.09.2021 passed in WP(C)No.193/2021. 3. It is noticed that the order dated 13.09.2021 was an interim order being passed during the pendency of the writ petition. However, during the pendency of the said writ petition, there has been further developments as is apparent from the order dated 14.12.2022 whereby WP(C)No.193/2021 was disposed of. 4. It is also seen that in the order dated 14.12.2022, the counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that he would like to submit a revised representation showing reasons requiring such revision. In addition to that, it is also seen that there was a direction passed in the order dated 14.12.2022 to the effect that the respondent No.3 i.e. the Chief Engineer, Irrigation Department shall also take appropriate steps in pursuance to the minutes of the meeting dated 25.08.2022. 5. In view of the subsequent developments, nothing further remains to be adjudicated upon in the instant proceedings, for which, the instant contempt proceedings stands dropped. 6. Be that as it may, this Court observes that the closing of the instant contempt proceedings shall not affect the implementation of the order dated Page No.# 3/3 14.12.2022 passed in WP(C)No.193/2021.
