The present application under Section 483 BNSS, 2023, has been instituted praying for enlarging the petitioners 1. Rohan Ullah and 2. Jeherul Islam on bail in connection with Dispur P.S. Case No. 754/2025 registered under section 127(7)/308(5) of BNS, 2023. 3. The informant in the FIR dated 09.09.2025, had alleged that one Amir Hussain had called his brother Makabul Huchen and brought him to a place at Kanak Mikir Path and was detained in the house by closing doors and switching off his mobile phone. It was further alleged in the FIR that Amir Hussain at around 8 P.M. contacted the family members of the victim and demanded an amount of Rs. 10,00,000/- and it was threatened that if the money is not paid they would kill his brother. 4. It is alleged that the victim while being shifted by the petitioners, herein, were apprehended by the police. The petitioners were so apprehended on 09.09.2025 and thereafter, the petitioners have been under detention. 5. I have considered the materials brought on record, including the disclosure made in the case diary produce in the matter by Mr. Parasar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor. 6. On a perusal of the materials coming on record, the victim having recovered and also considering length of detention undergone by the present petitioners, this Court is of the considered view that the petitioners are entitled to be enlarged on regular bail in connection with Dispur P.S. Case No. 754/2025 registered under Section 127(7)/308(5) of BNS, 2023 on furnishing a bond of Rs. 20,000/- to the satisfaction of the learned CJM, Kamrup (M). 7. The direction for bail is further subject to the conditions: (a) That the accused person shall co-operate with the investigating Page No.# 3/3 officer and shall appear before the investigating officer as on when called for; (b) That the accused persons shall not hamper or tamper with evidence; and (C) That the petitioners shall not leave the jurisdiction of the learned CJM, Kamrup(M) without prior permission. 8.
