Heard, Mr.M.Ravi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Murali, learned Government advocate who takes notice for the respondents 1, 2 and 4 and Mr.K.Karthekeiyan, learned Government advocate who takes notice for the 3rd respondent. 3. The petitioner has complained of denial of the rights to enter the temples of Pandarachettipatti village, Dharmapuri District on the grounds of discrimination, untouchability etc. The petitioner has also approached the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments department (department) with a representation on 13.08.2024 requesting the department to step in and ensure that the members of the Schedule Caste community to be permitted to enter the temples, participate in workship and also for non-discrimination against women under Madras Temple Entry Authorization and Indemnity Act, 1939. 4. Mr.K.Karthekeiyan, learned Government Advocate on instructions submits that the representation of the petitioner had already been actively taken __________ https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 44788 of 2025 up for consideration and steps are being taken to do the needful for redressing the grievance of the petitioner. 5. Mr.M.Murali, learned Government advocate states that the petitioner’s representation dated 13.08.2024 would be disposed of within a period of twelve(12) weeks from date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. In view of the above, the 3rd respondent is directed to dispose of the petitioner’s representation dated 13.08.2024, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
