Of M/s Abhijeet Sweet, A.G. Colony, Ranchi, from whom the sample of kalakand purchased from the accused Abhijeet Ghosh is adulterated by virtue of presence of added starch as an extraneous matter, hence the accused committed an offence punishable under Section 50 and 54 of the Food Safety & Standards Act, 2006.” 2. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that there is alternative and efficacious remedy available under the said Act and now the Tribunal is functional and as such, he seeks permission to withdraw the writ petition. 3. Learned counsel for the other side has no objection to the prayer. 2025:JHHC:27029 2 W.P.(C) No. 5812 of 2017 4. In that view of the matter, the writ petition stands disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to approach the Tribunal. 5.
