This Court, vide order dated 11.01.2024, passed in MCRC No.8642 of 2023, while allowing the bail to the applicant, namely, Durjo Banjara, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. Earlier on two occasions also this Court had granted extension of KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 time for compliance of the order dated 11.01.2024. 4. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Raipur District- Raipur (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 07.04.2025 has requested for grant of six months time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that in this case, statements of 12 prosecution witnesses have been recorded and statements of 04 witnesses are yet to be recorded and the case is fixed for prosecution evidence. Considering the number of witnesses, it is likely to take some time for concluding the trial. 6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of six months from today, if there is no legal impediment. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 8.
