HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD LUCKNOW MATTERS UNDER ARTICLE 227 No. - 5463 of 2025 Court No. - 5 HON'BLE ALOK MATHUR, J. 1. This Court on the previous occasion had noticed the fact that according to the order-sheet, the matter was adjourned on 53 days out of 69 days fixed due to call for boycott by the local bar association. It is in the aforesaid circumstances, this Court had issued notices to the President and Secretary of the local bar association. 2. Today when the matter has been taken up, short counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of Avadh Ram Yadav, President, Tehsil Bar Association, Tehsil Bikapur, District Ayodhya as well as Devi Dayal Mishra, Secretary, Tehsil Bar Association, Tehsil Bikapur, District Ayodhya. 3. In the affidavits filed before this Court, it has been stated that they have declared elected and have taken oath on 05.07.2025 and after they have taken over the charge there has been no call for boycott and they assured this Court that they will not resort to call for boycott unless and until there is due and cogent reason for the same or there is an unprecedented situation necessitating call for the boycott and have assured that such call will not be invoked in a routine manner. 4. Considering the statements made before this Court and the assurance given that they will not resort to call for boycott in future and during their term, this Court does not find any ground for proceeding against President and Secretary of Tehsil Bar Association, Tehsil Bikapur, District Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Sudhir Kumar Rai Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C. Jais Raji Varma .....Petitioner(s) Nayab Tehsildar Shahganj, Tehsil Bikapur, Ayodhya And 3 Others .....Respondent(s) Ayodhya. The notices issued are discharged subject to the condition that the President & Secretary, Tehsil Bar Association, Tehsil Bikapur, District Ayodhya, shall not call for any boycott during their term. 5.
