W.P.No.41927 of 2015 Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased toto issue a Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of Respondents 2 to 5 in granting permission to the 6th Respondent for shifting its Form 2B license to Vykuntapuram 38th ward in gross violation of A.P. Excise (Grant of License of Selling by Bar & Conditions of License) Rules 2005, as illegal, arbitrary and unjust in the interest of justice IA NO: 1 OF 2015(WPMP 54072 OF 2015 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased to suspend the operations of sale of liquor by the 6th Respondent as the same is in violation of Form 2B license granted under A.P. The above writ petition has been filed questioning the action of respondents 2 to 5 in granting permission to respondent No.6 to shift its Form 2 B license to Vykuntapuram, 38th ward, in gross violation of A.P. Excise (Grant of License of selling by Bar and Conditions of License) Rules, 2005. 2. The writ petition was listed on 28.12.2015, however, no interim order was granted. Subsequently, the matter underwent five adjournments, and on 26.04.2016, the following order was passed:

3. The writ petition was listed on 04.07.2024. There was no representation for the petitioner, and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Prohibition and Excise submitted that the matter had become infructuous. 4. Today also there is no representation for the petitioner. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Prohibition and Excise submitted that by efflux of time, the cause in this writ petition does not survive, since the license of respondent No.6 expired. 5. Recording the above contention of the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Prohibition and Excise, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
