Baruah, learned CGC appearing for the respondents. 2. The case of the petitioner is that pursuant to order an advertisement by the Staff Selection Commission for appointment of Constable (GD) in the Central Armed Police Forces, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy
Page No.# 3/3 in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination, 2025, the petitioner had submitted his candidature. However, by rejection slip dated 01.09.2025, the candidature of the petitioner was rejected for recruitment to the post of Constable (GD) in CAPF’s as he was not found qualified in the PST. 3. The conditions of the advertisement and the rejection slip requiring that an appeal can be filed on the same day, the aggrieved petitioner has approached this Court. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that under similar circumstances, by an order dated 15.09.2025, passed in WP(C) 5411/2025, this Court had granted 2 (two) weeks time to prefer an appeal before the competent authority against the rejection of candidature.
Considering the said order dated 15.09.2025, passed in WP(C) 5411/2025, the Court is inclined to grant 7 (seven) days time to the petitioner from date of the order to prefer an appeal before the competent authority, enclosing thereto the certified copy of the order. On receipt of the appeal filed by the petitioner, competent authority shall take the appeal of the petitioner on board and decide the same within a period of 30 (thirty) days from the date of submission of the appeal. 5. Accordingly, the matter stands disposed of in the motion stage without issuance notice upon the respondents. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
