Borbhuiya, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the challenge made to the impugned order dated 04.09.2018, whereby the petitioner’s Contractor Registration Certificate has been suspended, has now become infructuous in view of the observation made in the order dated 19.08.2024 passed in Crl. Pet.1040/2016, which is to the effect that the Chief Engineer, PWD (Roads), Assam by another office order dated 10.10.2018 had withdrawn his earlier order dated 04.09.2018. Mr. B. Gogoi, learned counsel appearing for the PWD also submits that the writ petition appears to have been infructuous. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels for the parties, the writ petition is closed as infructuous. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
