The petitioners have prayed for a direction to the respondents to pay compensation to them for the acquired land and to decide their representations dated 05.11.2024 and 02.12.2024. 3. The Competent Authority has provided written instructions according to which compensation has been paid for part of the acquired land as per report of SDM- Deoband dated 17.10.2022 and in respect of the remaining part, compensation has not been released as the said land is recorded as land reserved for public use. Admittedly, no order in writing has been passed till date denying compensation to the petitioners for the entire acquired land. 4. In such a situation, we dispose of the instant petition by providing that respondent no.3 shall decide representations dated 05.11.2024 and 02.12.2024 by a speaking order within twelve weeks from the date of communication of the order.
