HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD LUCKNOW CONTEMPT APPLICATION (CIVIL) No. - 4052 of 2025 Court No. - 8 HON'BLE MANISH KUMAR, J. The present contempt application has been preferred for alleged non compliance of the judgment and order dated 16.07.2025 passed in Matters Under Article 227 No. 4188 of 2025, whereby this Court has directed to decide the mutation case within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order, in accordance with law. Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that the copy of the order passed by this Court was served on 21.07.2025 but even after the expiry of three months, the matter is still pending. After hearing learned counsel for the applicant and through going through the record of the case as also the order-sheets enclosed since 15.04.2025 till 08.09.2025, it is found that after filing of the certified copy of the order on 21.07.2025, the case was listed on 16 dates, out of which on 14 dates, the lawyers were abstaining from judicial work, hence the delay in deciding the matter cannot be attributable to the respondent as there is no wilful or intentional disobedience on the part of the respondent. In view of the discussion made hereinabove, the present contempt application is devoid of merits and is accordingly dismissed. Notice, if any, stands discharged.
