2025:JHHC:22492 IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI B.A. No. 6578 of 2025 Anshu Kumar @ Anshu Kumar Mandal … … Petitioner Versus The State of Jharkhand. …… Opposite Party ------- CORAM : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RONGON MUKHOPADHYAY ------- For the Petitioner : Mr. A.K. Kashyap, Sr. Adv. For the O.P. : Mr. Shailendra Kr. Tiwari, Spl.P.P --- 02/07.08.2025 Heard Mr. A.K. Kashyap, learned senior counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Shailendra Kr. Tiwari, learned Spl.P.P. The petitioner is an accused in connection with Ramgarh P.S. Case No. 30 of 2025. The petitioner was suspected to be involved in cyber crime. ATM Card, SIM Card, cash, etc. were recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It has been submitted by the learned senior counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has got two criminal antecedents but they were not related to cyber crime. It has been submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 30.03.2025. Mr. Tiwari, learned Spl.P.P has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner and has referred to paragraph-34 and 35 of the case diary to suggest that one of the SIM cards which was recovered from the possession of the petitioner was inserted in another mobile and calls were made and several persons were cheated. There appears to some discrepancy with respect to the notings made in paragraph-34 of the case diary regarding the SIM and mobile recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It also appears that the petitioner is in custody for about five months. Regard being had to the above, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of 2 Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Dumka in connection with Ramgarh P.S. Case No. 30 of 2025, subject to the condition that one of the bailers should be a close relative of the petitioner. This application stands allowed. (Rongon Mukhopadhyay, J.) Shamim/-
