Respondent/s BEFORE HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE A. GUNESHWAR SHARMA Order 26.09.2025 [1] Heard Mr. N. Vijaykumar, learned counsel for the petitioners ad Mr. H. Debendra, learned Dy. A.G. assisted by Mr. O. Ratankumar, learned Dy. G.A. for the State respondent. [2] The petitioners approached this Court praying for disposal of the objection dated 04.01.2024 submitted by the petitioners to the Sub-Divisional Officer, Keirao Bitra, Imphal East with respect to notice No. 3/SDO/KBT/EV/23/350 dated 27.12.2023 issued by the Sub –Divisional Magistrate/SDO, Keirao Bitra, Imphal East for eviction of encroachers from the Government land. [3] It is submitted that objection submitted by the petitioners is not considered and decided. [4] Mr. H. Debendra, learned Dy. A.G., submits that Jamabandi produced by the petitioners was issued in the year 1988. [5] In view of the limited prayer, writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent No. 3 to consider and pass a speaking order as per rule to the pending objection filed by the petitioners within a period of two weeks. Eviction, if any, upon the encroached area be done after hearing. [6] While considering the objection, the petitioners may be given opportunity of being heard and the petitioners are directed to submit latest available land record.
