(b) To direct Respondent authorities to promote the Petitioner out of turn on the ground of his participation in naxal operations. (c) Cost of the present petitioner may also be awarded. (d) Pass any other further order(s) as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case and in the interest of justice.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has participated in some naxal operations and as such he is required to be granted out of turn promotion. He has filed representation, however, it has not been considered by the authorities till date. As such, at this stage, he prays that he may be allowed to file a suitable representation afresh before the authorities concerned and the said authorities may be directed to decide the representation in accordance with the relevant rules in respect of out of turn promotion to the petitioner who has participated in the naxal operations. 3. Learned counsel for the State submits that he has no objection if a fresh representation is filed by the petitioner. 3 4. Considering the aforesaid aspect of the matter, respondents No.2 to 4 are directed to consider the application/representation of the petitioner for out of turn promotion and to decide the same in accordance with law within a period of 90 days. It is made clear that this Court has not observed anything on merits of the case. The authorities are required to consider the case of the petitioner in accordance with the relevant acts and rules. The petitioner is directed to file his representation within 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
