For Petitioner : Mr.C.Jagan For Respondent : Mr.Leonard Arul Joseph Selvam Government Advocate (Crl.Side) O R D E R This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 20.12.2024, seeking bail in Crime No.868 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 8(c) r/w.20(b)(ii)(B), 29(1) of NDPS Act 1985. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the accused was found to be in illegal possession of 100 grams of ganja. Hence the case. 3.Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the 1/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Crl.O.P.No.2520 of 2025 petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He also submitted that the petitioner is in custody from 20.12.2024 and he is ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed for grant of bail to the petitioner. 4.Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police, while opposing for grant of bail to the petitioner, submitted that the petitioner was found to be in illegal possession of 100 grams of ganja and based on the confession statement recorded from A2, this petitioner/A3 has been implicated in this case. He further submitted that there are two previous cases against the petitioner, in which one is under NDPS Act. 5.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent Police and perused the materials available on record. 6.Considering the nature of allegation and period of incarceration undergone by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. 7.
