The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Tarhasi P.S. Case No. 54 of 2024 corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 22 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 21(C) and 22 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Special Judge under N.D.P.S. Act, Palamau. 3. Bail Application of the petitioner was earlier rejected vide B.A. No. 10392 by order dated 10.12.2024. 4. On 26.08.2024, Tarhasi Police on the basis of confidential information, raided the house of the petitioner. On search, 42 bottles of cough syrup containing Triprolidine Hydrochloride and Codeine Phosphate were recovered from there. 5. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that all the prosecution witnesses have been examined. 6. Considering the fact that commercial quantity of contraband was seized from the possession of the petitioner and the trial is at the fag end of its conclusion, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected. 7. Learned Trial Court shall expedite the trial and preferably conclude the trial within two months. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Nandini/- Uploaded
