Heard Mr. Deepak Prasad Sahu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. H. Debendra, learned Deputy AG assisted by Ms. Sharmila, learned counsel appearing for the respondents.
At the outset, the counsel for the petitioner submitted that the issue raised in the present writ petition has already been considered and decided by this court by passing a judgment and order dated 15-11-2016 in WP(C) No. 871 of 2008 filed by the present petitioner against the present respondents. The learned counsel submitted that the present writ petition can be disposed of by issuing a simple direction to the respondents to carry out the direction given by this court in the aforesaid
judgment and order within a stipulated period.
Mr. H. Debendra, learned Deputy AG fairly submitted that the issue raised in the present writ petition has already been considered by this court and the same has been decided by this court earlier by passing a judgment and order dated 15-11-2016. The learned Deputy AG submitted that he will have no objection in disposing the present writ petition as prayed for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.
Taking into consideration the submissions advanced by the

this court is of the considered view that interests of justice will be served by issuing the following directions:- (i) The respondents, more particularly, the respondent No. 2 to whom the representation dated 14-03-2008 had been submitted, are hereby directed to comply with the direction given earlier by this court in its judgment and order dated 15-11-2016 passed in WP(C) No. 871 of 2008 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, if the said direction has not already been carried out by the respondents; and (ii) The petitioner is directed to furnish a copy of the judgment and
order dated 15-11-2016 passed in WP(C) No. 871 of 2008 and a copy of the representation dated 14-03-2008 to the Commissioner (Finance), Government of Manipur, within a period of two weeks from today.
With the aforesaid directions, the present writ petition is
disposed of.
