Petitioner's claim for his electricity connection to be connected to the nearest poll can always be accorded consideration by the second respondent, at the first instance. Learned counsel for the respondent states that the petitioner's claim would be examined by the competent authority, in accordance with law. In the facts of the case, we permit the petitioner to approach the second respondent alongwith a certified copy of this order. The concerned respondent shall accord consideration to the petitioner's claim, noticed above, in accordance with law, by means of a reasoned order to be passed, within a period of six weeks from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
