Sl.No. 50 Court No. 35 G.S.Das 05.05.2025 WPA 8598 of 2025 Merej Sekh -Vs- The State of West Bengal & Ors. Mr. S. Purkayastha … for the Petitioner(s) Mr. Jayanta Samanta, ld. Jr. Govt. Adv. Ms. Paromita Malakar (Dutta) … for the State-respondent(s) The petitioner complains that the private respondents forcefully entered into his land and destroyed the crops with a Tractor. Learned advocate for the State submits that there is a long standing dispute in respect of ownership and/or title of the land in question. However, the police authorities have kept a strict vigil. Since the police authorities have kept a strict vigil, they would ensure that there is no breach of the peace and/or tranquility taking place as also no untoward incident resulting because of the strained relationship existing between the parties. With the aforesaid observations, WPA 8598 of 2025 is disposed of. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
