The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Tundi P.S. Case No. 59 of 2023, S.T. Case No.821 of 2023, for the offences registered under Sections 398/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 25(1-B)(a)/35 of the Arms Act, pending in the court of Sri Kumar Saket, learned Additional Sessions Judge- XI, Dhanbad. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court in B.A. No.8105/2024 by order dated 06.01.2025, at that stage. On 08.08.2023, five unknown persons waylaid the informant near Water Tank at Thetatand and attempted to snatch money from him. The Informant raised alarm, on which, people of the locality gathered there and apprehended the petitioner at the place of occurrence itself. It was submitted that petitioner is in custody for about two years. It was further submitted that out of 22 chargesheet witnesses, nine witnesses have been examined. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Kumar Saket, learned Additional Sessions Judge-XI, Dhanbad, in connection with Tundi P.S.
