GP FOR HOME (AP) The Court made the following order: This Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed for the following relief: “to issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or direction declaring the action of the 3rd respondent in repeatedly calling the petitioners to the police station and trying to arrest the petitioners as illegal, arbitrary and violation of Art 21 of constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents not to take any coercive steps including 2 arrest of the petitioners without following the procedure contemplated under Sec. 41A of Cr.P.C and pass such…” 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Government Pleader representing the State. 3. Learned Additional Government Pleader on written instructions, dated 06.09.2019, would submit that the allegations in the petitioners’ affidavit are not true and correct and they never called the petitioners to the police station as no offence was registered against them. Hence, the cause in writ petition does not survive for further adjudication. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the considered opinion that at this length of time no furthers orders are required in this petition. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed without going into merits of the case. There shall be no order as to costs.
