The prayers in the writ petition are as follows:- "i-issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding concerned specially the opp. party no.2 to renew the passport No. N5327691, file No. LK03075132963425 issued from Passport Office Lucknow valid w.e.f. 21.11.2015 to 20.11.2025 expeditiously within the stipulated time as provided by this Hon'ble Court so that the petitioner may travel to Saudi Arabia before expiry of his visa which is going to be expired on 23.06.2025 in the interest of justice. ii-issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opp. party no.2 to consider and decide the application of petitioner for renewal of his passport as contained in Annexure No.3 to this writ petition in the interest of justice expeditiously within the stipulated time as provided by this Hon'ble Court in the interest of justice." 3. The officer concerned is directed to look into the matter, grant an opportunity to the petitioner and thereafter pass a reasoned order in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from date. 4. In the event, the petitioner is eligible for renewal of the passport, the Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Shadab Haider, Rizwan Haider, Tanveer Haider Counsel for Respondent(s) : A.S.G.I. Kaif Ahmad .....Petitioner(s) Union Of India, Thru. Secy. Ministry Of External Affairs New Delhi And Another .....Respondent(s) passport should be issued to him within a period of eight weeks from date. 5. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.
