The case of the petitioner’s is that pursuant to order an advertisement by the Staff Selection Commission for appointment of Constable (GD) in the Central Armed Police Forces, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination, 2025, the petitioners had submitted their respective candidature. However, by rejection slip of the petitioner no. 1 dated 02.09.2025, petitioner no. 2 dated 29.08.2025, petitioner no. 3 dated 26.08.2025, petitioner no. 4 dated 27.08.2025, petitioner no. 5 dated 27.08.2025, petitioner no. 6 dated 21.08.2025, petitioner no. 7 dated 27.08.2025, petitioner no. 8 dated 22.08.2025, the candidature of the petitioners were rejected for recruitment to the post of Constable (GD) in CAPF’s as they were not found qualified in the PST. 3. The conditions of the advertisement and the rejection slip was that the appeal was to be filed on the same day, accordingly, the aggrieved petitioners have approached this Court. Page No.# 4/4 4. The learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that under similar circumstances, by an order dated 15.09.2025, passed in WP(C) 5411/2025, this Court had granted 2 (two) weeks time to prefer an appeal before the competent authority against the rejection of candidature. Considering the said order dated 15.09.2025, passed in WP(C) 5411/2025, the Court is inclined to grant 7 (seven) days time to the petitioner from date of the order to prefer separate appeals before the competent authority, enclosing the certified copy of the order. On receipt of the appeal filed by the petitioner, competent authority shall take the appeal of the petitioner on board and decide the same within a period of 30 (thirty) days from the date of submission of the appeal. 5. Accordingly, the matter stands disposed of in the motion stage without issuance notice upon the respondents. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
