Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the respondent/State. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that, on 07.5.2025 at about 5.00 pm, on receipt of credible information about illegal possession and transportation of ganja, the S.l of Kanigiri police station, along with mediators conducted search near Brahmamgari temple, doruvu Bazar, Kanigiri Town and found four persons in suspicious circumstances. On enquiry, said four persons disclosed their identity particulars as that of A1 to A4 and they possess 1.500 kgs of ganja in their possession and they confessed that they procured the same from A5. A5 further 2. 3. 2 confessed that the petitioners used to procure ganja from him and used to sell the ganja in small quantity to others. Hence anticipating arrest by police, the petitioners filed the present application for grant of anticipatory bail. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Public Prosecutor. Perused the record. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that the petitioners were not in possession of ganja and A5 in his confession statement stated that the petitioners used to procure ganja from him and sell the same in lesser quantities to others. But the petitioners do not any ganja and prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. 6. A perusal of the material available on record goes to show that the crime was registered on 07.5.2025. Without registering against the petitioners, they filed anticipatory bail application in NDPS case. Considering the said fact, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. 4. possess any crime 7.
