By means of the present writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:- “I. Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent nos.1, 2 and 3 to get investigation of Case Crime No.423 of 2022, under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 IPC, P.S. Kotwali – Jwalapur, District – Haridwar through Special Investigation Team (SIT) to ascertain the involvement and liability of concern officials/employees of Bank of Maharashtra and Piramal Capital and Housing Finance (DHFL) in the crime.” 5. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that an FIR has been lodged against the private respondents, in the writ petition, yet there was involvement of the Bank of Maharashtra, Piramal Capital and Housing Finance (DHFL). But Police is not investigating the offence properly, so a prayer is made to get the matter investigated through S.I.T. 6. It is pointed out by learned State counsel, on instructions, that investigation has been completed and after investigation, the Police has submitted charge sheet against respondent nos.4 and 5 dated 24.04.2023. 7. In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, nothing remains to be decided in the writ petition. 8. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous, however, liberty is given to the petitioner to invoke remedy available to him under law. (Pankaj Purohit, J.) 03.03.2025 SK 2
