Accordingly, the instant writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty, as prayed for. Petitioner is permitted to file appeal under Section 11 of the Passports Act, 1967 before the appellate authority. If any appeal is filed by the petitioner against the order dated 02.05.2025, appellate authority is directed to decide the same at the earliest, preferably within a period of 45 days from the date of filing of appeal.
