Heard Ms.P. Borah, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. K K Das, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam.

2. This is an application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023, whereby the petitioners have prayed for grant of pre-arrest bail in respect of Narayanpur P.S. Case No. 49/2024.
3. Some young boys hailing from village falling under Narayanpur Police Station habitually stops commercial vehicles and they used to demand money from those vehicles. In this case, one person was arrested by police and he named the present two petitioners to be involved in the said offence.
4. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel of both sides.
5. Under the given circumstances of the case, this Court is of the opinion that the petitioners, do not deserve to be given the privilege of anticipatory bail. Therefore, their pre- arrest bail application is rejected and disposed of accordingly. The CD shall be returned.
