Heard learned counsel for the parties. 2. The description of land of the petitioner is as follows :- “R.S. Plot No.1741, measuring an area 1.06 acres, R.S. Plot No.1742, measuring an area 0.50 acre and R.S. Plot No.1743 measuring area 0.63 acre, total area 2.19 acres, all under Khata no.04, Khewat No.3, situated at Village Cheddi, P.S. Kanke, P.S. No.75, Dist. - Ranchi.” 3. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the matter is regarding fixation of rent. The original authority has not granted the relief and accordingly, - 2 - W.P.(C) No.4658 of 2025 2025:JHHC:25981 an appeal has been preferred being Rent Fixation Appeal No.61/ 2024-25 before the Deputy Commissioner, Ranchi. 4. A limited prayer has been made by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the appellate authority may be directed to dispose of the aforesaid appeal as the same is pending for more than a year. 5. Considering the limited prayer, there is no requirement for issuance of notice to the private respondents. Accordingly, the present writ petition is, hereby, disposed of directing the appellate authority i.e. respondent No.1 to dispose of the pending appeal within three months from the date of receipt/ production of copy of this order. 6.
