A limited prayer has been made for issuing direction to the respondent No.1 to decide the petitioners’ mutation application within a time frame. 2. Counsel submits that the decision with regard to the subject land has attained finality up to the Board of Revenue, thereafter, an application was submitted by the petitioners before the respondent No.1 for making necessary entries by way of mutation in the revenue record, but in-spite of passing (2 of 2) [CW-8400/2025] of considerable time, till date, the said application has not been decided, hence, appropriate direction be issued to the authority concerned to do the needful exercise expeditiously, within a time frame. 3. Considering the arguments put forward by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the instant writ petition stands disposed of with the expectation from the respondent No.1 to decide the application (pending, if any) expeditiously, as early as possible, after affording due opportunity of hearing to all the respective aggrieved parties, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 4. Needless to observe that this Court has not issued any direction to decide the application in a particular way. The respondent would be at liberty to decide the same strictly in accordance with law.
