HARI HARANADHA SARMA WRIT APPEAL No.626 of 2025 JUDGMENT:(Per Hon’ble Sri Justice Battu Devanand) This Writ Appeal is filed aggrieved by the order, dated 06.05.2025 passed by the learned Single Judge in W.P.No.3285 of 2025, directing the respondents therein to allow the petitioners to appear for the final written examination scheduled on 01.06.2025, for the post of Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Police Constables (Civil) (Men & Women) and Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Police Constables (APSP) (Men) in the Police Department. 2. Heard the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the learned Advocate General for the appellants and the learned counsel for the respondent(s). 3. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader submits that in view of the subsequent developments during the pendency of the Writ Petition, no cause survives in this matter and it has become infructuous. 4. The learned counsel for the respondent(s) also endorsed the same. 5. In view of the above factual position, in our considered view, no further adjudication is required in this Writ Appeal. 6. Accordingly, the Writ Appeal is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. It is made clear that the parties are at liberty to request the learned Single Judge for disposal of the Writ Petition pending, in accordance with law.
